  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy for the organization.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data governance policies and procedures.
  3. Establish data quality standards and monitor adherence to ensure accuracy and usability of data.
  4. Create and maintain data governance documentation, including policies, standards, and processes.
  5. Work with stakeholders across the organization to promote data governance best practices and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  6. Monitor and assess data governance maturity and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  7. Develop and implement data governance training programs for employees to ensure understanding and compliance with policies and procedures.
  8. Lead data governance initiatives to improve data quality and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  9. Identify and address data governance risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
  10. Monitor and report on data governance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of data management processes.
  11. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data governance and provide recommendations for their adoption.
  12. Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain data governance tools and technologies.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to teams and individuals on data governance matters.
  14. Lead cross-functional data governance projects and deliver them within agreed timelines and budget.
  15. Mentor and train junior data governance team members.
