  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for managing risks associated with employee benefits plans.
  2. Monitor and analyze industry trends, laws, and regulations related to employee benefits to ensure compliance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement employee benefits programs that align with company goals and objectives.
  4. Conduct regular audits and reviews of benefits plans to identify potential risks and make recommendations for improvements.
  5. Oversee the administration of employee benefits plans, including enrollment, claims processing, and communication with employees.
  6. Serve as a subject matter expert on benefits laws and regulations, providing guidance and support to HR and leadership teams.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and consultants to ensure effective management of benefits plans.
  8. Communicate and educate employees on the company's benefits offerings, including plan details, eligibility requirements, and enrollment processes.
  9. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all benefits plans are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  10. Analyze data and metrics related to benefits plans to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  11. Lead the development and delivery of training programs for HR and other relevant teams on benefits risk management best practices.
  12. Stay current on industry best practices and make recommendations for process improvements and innovations in benefits risk management.
  13. Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies, responding to inquiries and requests for information.
  14. Manage a team of benefits professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  15. Foster a culture of employee well-being and diversity and inclusion within the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Benefits Risk Management: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Managing Benefits Risk At A Senior Level, Preferably In A Similar Industry Or Organization.

  • Strong Understanding Of Benefits Regulations And Compliance: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Employee Benefits, Including But Not Limited To Erisa, Aca, Hipaa, And Fmla.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills: As A Senior Leader, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Lead A Team Of Benefits Risk Management Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Mentor And Develop Team Members, As Well As Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Senior Benefits Risk Management Lead Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Mitigating Potential Risks Related To Employee Benefits. The Candidate Should Have Strong Analytical Skills To Identify Potential Risks And Develop Effective Solutions To Address Them.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Role Involves Working Closely With Internal Stakeholders, External Vendors, And Regulatory Agencies. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate Complex Benefits-Related Information And Build Relationships With Key Stakeholders.
