Lead the development of new VMS products, from ideation to launch, in alignment with the overall company strategy and goals.
Identify and assess market trends, consumer needs, and competitor offerings to inform product development decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and regulatory, to ensure alignment and successful execution of product development plans.
Manage and prioritize multiple projects and timelines to ensure timely and successful product launches.
Conduct thorough research and analysis to support product development decisions, including ingredient sourcing and formulation development.
Act as the subject matter expert for VMS products, staying up-to-date on industry developments and sharing knowledge with the team.
Lead and mentor a team of R&D professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Develop and manage budgets for product development projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Work closely with external vendors and partners to source ingredients, develop formulations, and conduct clinical trials.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for VMS products.
Continuously evaluate and improve existing VMS products, incorporating new technologies and ingredients to enhance their effectiveness.
Report on product development progress and results to senior management, providing recommendations for future initiatives.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences, building relationships and promoting our VMS products.
Embody and promote the company's mission, values, and culture in all interactions and activities.

Job Qualifications

Advanced Education: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Or A Related Field Is Required For This Role. A Master's Or Phd Degree Is Preferred.
Experience In R&D: A Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Research And Development Role Within The Pharmaceutical Or Nutraceutical Industry Is Required. Previous Experience In Developing Vms Products Is Preferred.
Strong Knowledge Of Vitamins, Minerals, And Supplements: A Deep Understanding Of The Science Behind Vitamins, Minerals, And Supplements Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Knowledge Of Their Benefits, Interactions, And Potential Side Effects.
Leadership Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading A Team Of Scientists And Researchers In A Fast-Paced Environment. They Should Possess Excellent Communication, Problem-Solving, And Project Management Skills.
