  1. Lead and oversee all aspects of quantitative genetics research and development within Bayer, utilizing your extensive knowledge and expertise in the field.
  2. Develop and implement innovative processes and technologies to advance our understanding of genetics and support our mission to improve global health.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments, analyze data, and draw meaningful conclusions to inform future research and development efforts.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Quantitative Genetics Or Related Field: A Principal Quantitative Genetics Process Scientist At Bayer Should Have A Ph.d. Or Equivalent In Quantitative Genetics, Statistical Genetics, Or A Related Field.

  • Extensive Experience In Statistical Modeling And Data Analysis: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Applying Statistical Methods And Data Analysis Techniques To Large-Scale Genetic Datasets.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Genomic Technologies: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Genomic Technologies Such As Gwas, Snp Genotyping, And Next-Generation Sequencing, And Should Be Able To Design And Interpret Experiments Using These Technologies.

  • Proficiency In Programming And Statistical Software: The Candidate Should Have Strong Programming Skills In Languages Such As R, Python, And Perl, And Should Be Proficient In Statistical Software Packages Such As Sas, Spss, Or Stata.

  • Leadership And Project Management Experience: As A Principal Quantitative Genetics Process Scientist, The Candidate Should Have Experience Leading And Managing A Team Of Researchers, As Well As Successfully Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously. Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Also Essential For This Role.
