Develop and implement a comprehensive cyber security risk management strategy for the organization.
Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and weaknesses.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber security threats, trends, and best practices.
Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines related to cyber security risk management.
Provide guidance and training to employees on cyber security best practices and awareness.
Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Participate in incident response and crisis management activities as needed.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure the security of shared data and systems.
Lead and mentor a team of cyber security risk specialists to ensure the organization's cyber security goals are met.
Prepare and present reports to senior management on the organization's cyber security risk posture.
Continuously assess and improve the organization's cyber security risk management program.
Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Act as a subject matter expert on cyber security risk management, providing guidance and support to other departments and teams as needed.

Job Qualifications

In-Depth Knowledge Of Cyber Security Principles And Practices: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Cyber Security Principles, Including Risk Assessment, Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, And Regulatory Compliance.
Extensive Experience In Risk Assessment And Management: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Conducting Thorough Risk Assessments, Identifying Potential Threats And Vulnerabilities, And Implementing Effective Risk Management Strategies.
Strong Technical Background: A Strong Technical Background In Areas Such As Network Security, Application Security, Encryption, And Cloud Security Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Also Be Familiar With Industry-Standard Security Tools And Technologies.

This Will Help Them Understand The Unique Security Challenges And Requirements Of The Sector.
Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Principal Cyber Security Risk Specialist, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Cyber Security Professionals.
