Develop and implement marker-assisted selection strategies to improve crop breeding process and enhance crop performance.
Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of genetic data to identify and select the most effective markers for plant breeding.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate marker-assisted selection techniques into the overall breeding program.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in genetic technologies and incorporate them into marker-assisted selection processes.
Design and execute experiments to validate the effectiveness of marker-assisted selection strategies.
Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends that can inform breeding decisions.
Communicate results and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Manage and maintain databases and documentation related to marker-assisted selection.
