1. Oversee all aspects of the accounts payable process, including but not limited to invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.
2. Ensure timely and accurate payment of all invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
3. Manage and lead a team of accounts payable clerks, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
4. Maintain positive relationships with vendors and address any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
5. Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable process.
6. Review and analyze accounts payable reports to identify any discrepancies or errors and take appropriate action to resolve them.
7. Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and finance, to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounts payable to continuously improve processes and procedures.
9. Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
11. Provide regular updates and reports to upper management on the status of accounts payable and any issues or concerns.
12. Mentor and develop team members to promote a positive and productive work environment.
13. Attend relevant training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
14. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by upper management.
