Minimum Of High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Sterile Processing Technician At Baycare Health System Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Demonstrate Basic Education And Understanding.
Completion Of A Sterile Processing Technician Training Program: Applicants Must Have Completed A Formal Sterile Processing Technician Training Program, Which Includes Coursework In Sterilization Techniques, Infection Control, And Medical Terminology.
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Certification: Baycare Health System Requires All Sterile Processing Technicians To Hold A Crcst Certification Through The International Association Of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (Iahcsmm) Or The Certification Board For Sterile Processing And Distribution (Cbspd).
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Infection Control Procedures: As A Sterile Processing Technician, You Will Work Closely With Medical Professionals And Handle Instruments And Equipment Used For Patient Care.
