  1. Conduct thorough analysis of reimbursement data to identify trends, variances, and potential issues.
  2. Prepare and submit accurate and timely reimbursement claims to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided.
  3. Monitor and interpret changes in CMS regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance and optimize reimbursement opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with internal departments and external entities to resolve reimbursement-related issues and inquiries.
  5. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with healthcare facilities and insurance providers to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
  6. Utilize advanced Excel skills to manipulate and analyze large datasets, identify discrepancies, and present findings in a clear and organized manner.
  7. Conduct regular audits of reimbursement processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  8. Develop and maintain reimbursement policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  9. Mentor and train junior reimbursement analysts to ensure their understanding of reimbursement processes and systems.
  10. Participate in cross-functional teams to support the development and implementation of new reimbursement initiatives.
  11. Provide recommendations to senior leadership on reimbursement strategies and initiatives to improve financial stability.
  12. Stay informed on industry trends and changes in healthcare reimbursement to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  13. Conduct ad-hoc analyses and reporting as needed to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  14. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial and patient information.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development to stay current in the field of healthcare finance.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or Healthcare Administration.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Reimbursement, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Medicare, Medicaid, And Commercial Insurance Reimbursement Methodologies.
