  1. Maintain accurate charge data: As a Scheduling Charge Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all charge data is accurate and up-to-date in our scheduling system.
  2. Monitor and manage scheduling system: You will be responsible for monitoring our scheduling system to ensure that appointments are scheduled correctly and all necessary information is entered accurately.
  3. Coordinate with healthcare providers: In this role, you will work closely with healthcare providers to schedule appointments and ensure that all necessary information is collected for accurate billing.
  4. Prioritize and manage workload: As a detail-oriented individual, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of scheduling requests and prioritizing tasks to ensure efficient and timely completion.
  5. Maintain confidentiality: You will be responsible for handling sensitive patient information and must maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  6. Troubleshoot scheduling issues: In this role, you will be expected to identify and resolve any issues that may arise with the scheduling system, and communicate any problems or concerns to the appropriate parties.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Scheduling, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare System Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Understanding Of Insurance Requirements For Scheduling Appointments.

  • Proficiency In Using Electronic Health Record Systems And Scheduling Software.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Staff.
