  1. Conduct neurodiagnostic tests and procedures on patients using advanced technology and equipment.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely recording and analysis of test results.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans for patients.
  4. Maintain a high level of attention to detail in order to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  5. Stay up-to-date on advancements in neurodiagnostic technology and procedures.
  6. Communicate clearly and effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support throughout the testing process.
  7. Ensure patient comfort and safety during all procedures.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  9. Maintain accurate and organized records of all tests and procedures performed.
  10. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.
  11. Troubleshoot technical issues with equipment and escalate to appropriate personnel when necessary.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  13. Adhere to all HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines.
  14. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  15. Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
  16. Follow all policies and procedures set forth by the organization.
  17. Continuously strive to improve and enhance the neurodiagnostic process for the benefit of patients.
  18. Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering of necessary supplies.
  19. Be available to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing healthcare environment.
  20. Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Neurodiagnostic Technology Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Neurodiagnostic Technology Or A Related Field Is Required For This Role. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In The Principles And Practices Of Neurodiagnostic Technology.

  • Certification In Neurodiagnostic Technology: Candidates Must Possess A Valid Certification In Neurodiagnostic Technology From A Recognized Organization Such As The American Board Of Registration Of Electroencephalographic And Evoked Potential Technologists (Abret).

  • Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Specifically In A Neurology Or Neurosurgery Department, Is Preferred. This Shows That The Candidate Has A Good Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry And Is Familiar With The Protocols And Procedures Followed In A Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Neuroanatomy And Physiology: A Thorough Understanding Of Neuroanatomy And Physiology Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Must Possess Knowledge Of The Central And Peripheral Nervous Systems, As Well As The Ability To Interpret Eeg, Nerve Conduction, And Evoked Potential Studies.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Neurodiagnostic Technologist, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial For Building Relationships And Providing Quality Patient Care.
