- Provide direct care and support to patients struggling with mental illness.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as dressing, bathing, and grooming.
- Monitor and document patients' behaviors and progress.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Conduct therapeutic activities and interventions to promote mental wellness.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate a non-judgmental attitude and understanding of mental health disorders.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations related to patient care and safety.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance knowledge and skills in the mental health field.
- Serve as an advocate for patients and their families.
- Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere for patients.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Report any concerns or changes in patient's condition to the treatment team.
- Contribute to the overall mission and goals of the organization to improve mental health and well-being in the community.
Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Mental Health Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Environment.
Knowledge Of Various Mental Health Disorders And Treatment Modalities.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients And Multidisciplinary Healthcare Teams.
Ability To Handle Stressful Situations And Demonstrate Empathy And Compassion Towards Patients With Mental Health Issues.
