Job Description

BayCare Health System is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager Site for our Hematology Oncology department. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our site, ensuring the highest quality of care is provided to our patients.   1. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Hematology Oncology department at the designated site.
  2. Ensure that the highest quality of care is provided to patients by actively monitoring and evaluating clinical practices and procedures.
  3. Develop and implement strategies and protocols to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
  4. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care to patients.
  5. Create and maintain a positive work environment by providing leadership, guidance, and support to staff.
  6. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to promote continuous improvement.
  7. Develop and manage departmental budget, including identifying areas for cost savings and revenue generation.
  8. Stay up-to-date with advancements and changes in the field of Hematology Oncology and ensure that the department is adapting to these changes.
  9. Oversee compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to patient care and healthcare operations.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the department and other departments within the organization, as well as external stakeholders.
  11. Handle patient complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to promote the department's services and increase patient volume.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Hematology Oncology, With At Least 2 Years In A Management Or Leadership Role.

  • Strong Understanding Of Current Trends And Best Practices In Hematology Oncology, Including Regulatory Requirements And Quality Improvement Initiatives.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Patients, Physicians, And Staff.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team, Develop And Implement Strategic Plans, And Make Sound Decisions Under Pressure.
