- Develop and implement security protocols to protect sensitive information and prevent cyber threats.
- Monitor network activity and conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Analyze security incidents and respond promptly to mitigate any potential risks.
- Conduct regular audits and penetration testing to ensure the integrity of data.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and security trends to proactively protect the organization.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security measures and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Investigate and resolve security breaches or incidents in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity in the event of a cyber attack.
- Provide training and education to employees on cybersecurity best practices to promote a culture of security awareness.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, on the status of the organization's cybersecurity posture.
- Conduct research and make recommendations for new security technologies or processes to enhance the organization's security measures.
- Maintain documentation of security procedures, incidents, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure the security of systems and data shared with third parties.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for all cybersecurity-related inquiries and issues.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards for data protection and security.
Bachelor's Degree In Cybersecurity Or A Related Field, Such As Computer Science Or Information Technology.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Cybersecurity Role, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.
Knowledge Of Current Industry Standards And Best Practices For Information Security, Including Hipaa Compliance.
Certifications Such As Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp) Or Certified Information Security Manager (Cism) Are Highly Desirable.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Cyber Threats And Vulnerabilities.
