  1. Coordinate and manage the credentialing process for all healthcare providers within the organization.
  2. Review and verify all provider credentials, licenses, and certifications to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider data in credentialing databases and systems.
  4. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and their representatives to obtain necessary documentation and resolve any credentialing issues.
  5. Collaborate with various departments within the organization to gather and compile necessary information for credentialing.
  6. Conduct thorough background checks for all providers, including education, training, work history, and references.
  7. Keep track of provider expirations and ensure timely renewals to maintain compliance.
  8. Prepare and submit all necessary credentialing applications to external organizations and insurance companies.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and organizations to stay updated on industry changes and requirements.
  10. Participate in regular audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  11. Train and educate new providers on credentialing processes and requirements.
  12. Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  13. Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  14. Stay current with industry trends and changes in credentialing regulations to ensure compliance.
  15. Provide exceptional customer service to all healthcare providers and internal stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Credentialing And Privileging Within A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Current Joint Commission, National Committee For Quality Assurance (Ncqa), And Other Accrediting Body Standards Related To Credentialing And Privileging.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Maintain Accurate And Up-To-Date Records.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Healthcare Providers, Staff, And External Agencies.
