  1. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms in patients using specialized equipment and technology.
  2. Ensure the safety and well-being of patients by promptly identifying and reporting any abnormal cardiac rhythms.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide timely and accurate information on cardiac rhythms.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all cardiac monitoring activities.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to cardiac monitoring equipment.
  6. Educate patients and their families on cardiac monitoring procedures and techniques.
  7. Adhere to all hospital and industry safety standards and protocols.
  8. Continuously monitor and assess patient data to identify any changes or potential issues.
  9. Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to provide updates on patient status and any changes in cardiac rhythms.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on advancements in cardiac monitoring technology and procedures.
  11. Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate treatment plans for patients based on cardiac monitoring data.
  12. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  13. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of cardiac monitoring equipment.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  15. Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all cardiac monitoring activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification In Cardiac Rhythm Monitoring: Candidates Should Hold An Active Certification In Cardiac Rhythm Monitoring, Such As The Certified Cardiographic Technician (Cct) Or The Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (Crat), From A Recognized Organization.

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Monitoring Equipment: Candidates Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Cardiac Monitoring Equipment, Including Electrocardiograms (Ekgs), Telemetry Units, And Holter Monitors.

  • Proficiency In Ekg Interpretation: Candidates Should Possess Strong Skills In Interpreting Ekg Readings And Identifying Abnormal Cardiac Rhythms, Including Arrhythmias And Cardiac Events.

  • Communication And Teamwork: Candidates Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team-Based Environment, As They Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably With Direct Patient Care Experience, And Be Familiar With Medical Terminology And Procedures. Previous Experience As A Monitor Technician Or In A Related Role Is Also Preferred.
