  1. Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and their families during their healthcare journey.
  2. Conduct spiritual assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients.
  4. Offer pastoral counseling and guidance to patients and families in times of need.
  5. Facilitate religious and spiritual practices for patients of different faiths and backgrounds.
  6. Serve as a resource for healthcare staff on spiritual care and end-of-life issues.
  7. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care and offer spiritual input.
  8. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions.
  9. Advocate for patients' spiritual needs and ensure their cultural and religious beliefs are respected.
  10. Stay updated on current research and best practices in spiritual care to provide high-quality services.
  11. Provide education and training to staff and volunteers on spiritual care and its importance in healthcare.
  12. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and care plans.
  13. Collaborate with community clergy and spiritual leaders to provide continuity of care for patients after discharge.
  14. Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 spiritual support to patients and families.
  15. Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of spiritual care services and make recommendations for improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Divinity, Theology, Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Ordination Or Endorsement From A Recognized Faith Group.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Chaplain In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Board Certification From A Recognized Chaplaincy Certifying Organization, Such As The Association Of Professional Chaplains Or The National Association Of Catholic Chaplains.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Provide Spiritual Care To Patients, Families, And Staff Of Diverse Backgrounds And Beliefs.
