Pediatrics Director, Home Care

At BAYADA Home Health Care, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Pediatrics Director, Home Care to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for leading and managing BAYADA Home Health Care's pediatric home care program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the pediatric home care field, as well as a deep understanding of the unique needs of pediatric patients and their families. We are seeking an individual who is driven, organized, and committed to providing the best quality of care for our pediatric clients. The successful candidate will have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and their families. Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare or related field • 7+ years of experience in pediatric home health care• 3+ years of experience managing and leading medical teams • Excellent communication and problem solving skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel • Knowledge of state and federal regulations for home health care • Demonstrated leadership skills • Current RN license in the state of practice • Current CPR certification • Ability to travel

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for home health care.
2. Supervise and manage a team of medical professionals, including nurses and other healthcare professionals.
3. Provide guidance and mentorship to medical staff, ensuring high-quality care for pediatric patients and their families.
4. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
5. Create and manage budgets for the pediatric home care program.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, payers, and other stakeholders.
7. Monitor and evaluate program performance and progress.
8. Lead and participate in program-related initiatives and activities.
9. Develop and deliver presentations on pediatric home care topics.
10. Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations and healthcare providers.
11. Participate in professional development activities and events.
12. Travel as required to attend meetings, conferences, and other events.
