Home Health Aide

Certification as a Home Health Aide or a Nursing Assistant is preferred. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are also required.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients in their homes with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and cooking meals.
2. Administer medications and treatments as directed by the client's medical provider.
3. Monitor and report changes in client's health to supervisor or other appropriate personnel.
4. Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
5. Assist with housekeeping tasks such as grocery shopping, light cleaning, and laundry.
6. Provide transportation to medical appointments and other activities as needed.
7. Assist with coordination of services and resources for clients.
8. Maintain client records and provide progress reports to supervisor.
9. Follow established safety protocols and procedures.
10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives in accordance with agency standards.
