- Develop and implement technology solutions to support commercial business operations and drive innovation within Baxter International.
- Lead and manage a global team of IT professionals, providing guidance, direction and support to ensure successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including commercial business leaders, to understand business needs and develop technology strategies that align with company goals.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously enhance and improve the company's technology capabilities.
- Develop and manage IT budgets and resources to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Global Commercial Technology team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to leverage their expertise and resources for the benefit of Baxter International.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to technology and data management.
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership on the progress and impact of technology initiatives.

Extensive Experience In Global Commercial Technology: A Qualified Candidate For The Vp, It–Global Commercial Technology Role At Baxter International Should Have A Strong Background In Managing And Implementing Technology Solutions On A Global Scale. This Includes Experience With Different Technology Systems, Platforms, And Processes Used In Commercial Operations.
Leadership And Management Skills: As A Vp, It–Global Commercial Technology, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of It Professionals. Therefore, They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successful Leadership And Management In A Similar Role, Including The Ability To Motivate And Develop Team Members.
Strategic Thinking And Business Acumen: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strategic Mindset And Be Able To Think Critically About How Technology Can Support And Drive Business Goals And Objectives. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of The Commercial Operations And Business Processes Within The Healthcare Industry.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: Effective Communication And Collaboration Are Key For Success In This Role, As The Vp, It–Global Commercial Technology Will Need To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Stakeholders, And External Partners. The Ability To Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Individuals Is Also Essential.
Project Management Expertise: The Vp, It–Global Commercial Technology Will Be Responsible For Overseeing And Managing Multiple Technology Projects Simultaneously. Therefore, They Should Have Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Prioritize Tasks, Manage Resources, And Deliver Projects On Time And Within Budget. A Project Management Certification, Such As Pmp, Would Be A Plus.
