- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the SADC region to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and motivation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, distributors, and other external partners.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and inform sales strategies.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance and market trends.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Baxter's products and services, and effectively communicate their value proposition to customers.
- Utilize data and analytics to track and analyze sales performance and make data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
- Represent Baxter International at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to promote the company's brand and products.
- Continuously develop and enhance personal and team sales skills and knowledge through training and development opportunities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and open communication within the sales team and across the organization.
- Represent the company with the highest level of professionalism and integrity at all times.
Minimum 10 Years Of Experience In Sales, Preferably In The Medical Device Or Healthcare Industry.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing A Sales Team In The Sadc (South Africa, Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia, And Zimbabwe) Region.
Strong Understanding Of The Market Trends And Dynamics In The Sadc Region, With The Ability To Develop And Execute Effective Sales Strategies.
Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients And Key Stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Related Field. An Mba Or Other Relevant Post-Graduate Degree Is Preferred.
