
Medical Inventory Specialist - 2nd Shift

- Maintain and manage accurate inventory records for all medical supplies and equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Receive, store, and distribute medical supplies and equipment according to established procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and anticipate supply needs to avoid shortages and overstocking.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Follow proper storage and handling protocols for all medical supplies and equipment.
- Assist with the ordering and purchasing of supplies as needed.
- Track and report on inventory levels, usage, and expiration dates.
- Troubleshoot any issues related to inventory or supply chain processes.
- Train and mentor new team members on inventory management procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in inventory management technology.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Baxter International to internal and external stakeholders.
Prior Experience In Inventory Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Managing Medical Inventory, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting. This Includes Knowledge Of Inventory Control Systems And Procedures, As Well As Experience With Handling And Tracking Medical Supplies.
Strong Organizational Skills: As A Medical Inventory Specialist, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Maintaining Accurate And Up-To-Date Inventory Records. This Requires Excellent Organizational Skills, Attention To Detail, And The Ability To Prioritize Tasks Effectively.
Knowledge Of Medical Supplies And Equipment: A Thorough Understanding Of Medical Supplies And Equipment Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Familiar With Different Types Of Medical Products, Their Uses, And Their Storage Requirements.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The 2Nd Shift At Baxter International Is A Busy Time, With A High Volume Of Orders And Inventory Management Tasks. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Work Efficiently Under Pressure And Meet Tight Deadlines.
