Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Manager to join our team at Baxter International. As a global healthcare company, our facilities play a critical role in supporting our mission to save and sustain lives. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in facilities management and a strong understanding of building operations and maintenance. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring they are safe, functional, and efficient.   1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple facilities, including building maintenance, security, and cleanliness.
  2. Create and implement strategic plans to improve the functionality and efficiency of our facilities.
  3. Manage a team of facility staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of facility projects.
  5. Monitor and manage facility budgets, ensuring all expenses are within budget and identifying areas for cost savings.
  6. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential safety hazards and maintenance needs, and develop plans to address them.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure facilities are meeting the needs of the organization and its employees.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to facilities management, and implement necessary changes to stay compliant.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility operations and maintenance.
  10. Develop emergency plans and procedures to ensure the safety and security of all individuals in the facilities.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and efficiency in facility operations.
  12. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management, to provide updates and recommendations on facility operations.
  13. Act as a liaison between the organization and external parties, such as landlords, contractors, and vendors.
  14. Ensure all facilities are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the facilities team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Facility Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Facilities Management, Preferably In A Corporate Or Industrial Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Building Systems, Construction, And Maintenance Processes.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Plan, Organize, And Oversee Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Proven Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Facilities Staff.
