  1. Develop and execute system verification and validation plans for critical medical devices.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of system testing and verification activities.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential issues in the design and development of medical devices.
  4. Utilize technical expertise and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues during system testing.
  5. Create and maintain detailed documentation of all testing activities and results.
  6. Participate in design reviews and provide valuable input to improve the design and functionality of medical devices.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance in all system verification and validation activities.
  8. Train and mentor junior engineers on testing methodologies and best practices.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and present findings and recommendations to upper management.
  10. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure successful integration and compatibility of medical devices.
  12. Maintain a high level of quality and accuracy in all testing activities to ensure the safety and effectiveness of medical devices.
  13. Adhere to project timelines and deliverables to ensure on-time completion of testing activities.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert in system verification and validation and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
  15. Uphold Baxter International's mission and values in all job responsibilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field, Such As Biomedical Engineering Or Electrical Engineering.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In System Verification And Validation, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Fda Guidelines And Iso 13485.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Systems And Identify Potential Design Flaws.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Abilities, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Findings To Stakeholders.
