- Lead and manage a team of toxicologists to ensure the safe and effective development of pharmaceutical products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the successful completion of preclinical toxicology studies
- Develop and implement strategies for toxicology assessments and risk management in drug development
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines
- Monitor and analyze data from preclinical toxicology studies to identify potential safety concerns and develop mitigation strategies
- Review and approve study protocols, reports, and other documentation related to preclinical toxicology
- Provide expertise and guidance on toxicology-related issues to internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies
- Conduct literature reviews and stay updated on the latest developments in the field of toxicology
- Manage budgets and resources to effectively support preclinical toxicology activities
- Mentor and develop team members to promote growth and career advancement.
Advanced Degree In Toxicology, Pharmacology, Or A Related Scientific Field.
Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Preclinical Toxicology, Preferably In A Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Glp Guidelines And Fda Regulations Pertaining To Preclinical Toxicology Studies.
Experience Managing And Leading A Team Of Scientists And Toxicologists.
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Scientific Data To Diverse Stakeholders.
