Job Description

As a Lab Technician, you will play an integral role in conducting quality control tests, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing support to our research and development teams. We are seeking individuals with a strong background in chemistry or a related field, exceptional organizational skills, and a desire to continuously improve processes and procedures.   1. Conduct quality control tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products according to established protocols and procedures.
  2. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to ensure product quality and consistency.
  3. Collaborate with research and development teams to provide technical support on new and existing products.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory activities and results.
  5. Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  6. Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while handling hazardous materials and operating laboratory equipment.
  7. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on project progress and any issues that arise.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in analytical testing methods.
  10. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  11. Assist in writing and revising technical documents, such as standard operating procedures and test methods.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  15. Uphold the company's commitment to safety, sustainability, and ethical practices.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Chemistry, Biology, Or Engineering.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Technical Service Role.

  • Strong Understanding Of Laboratory Equipment And Procedures, Including Proficiency In Analytical Techniques And Data Analysis.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Team Environment.

  • Familiarity With Basf Products And Processes, As Well As Industry Regulations And Standards.
