- Conduct thorough research and analysis of local, national, and international product regulations to ensure BASF products are compliant.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all relevant product regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement strategies for maintaining compliance and mitigating potential risks.
- Review and approve product labels, marketing materials, and other product-related documents to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Continuously monitor and update internal policies and procedures to align with changing regulations and best practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors, providing accurate and timely information as needed.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify and address any potential compliance issues.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on product regulations and compliance requirements.
- Identify and communicate potential compliance risks to management and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate them.
- Stay informed of industry trends and developments related to product regulations and make recommendations for improvement or optimization.
- Participate in industry conferences and events to stay current on emerging regulations and share best practices with colleagues.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all regulatory documentation and ensure timely submission of required reports.
- Collaborate with the legal department to review and approve contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with product regulations.
- Continuously assess and improve internal processes and procedures related to product regulations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Represent BASF in regulatory discussions and negotiations with government agencies and industry associations.
Bachelor's Degree In Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Product Regulations And Compliance, Preferably In The Chemical Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Global Product Regulations And Standards, Including Reach, Tsca, And Clp.
Strong Understanding Of Product Safety And Risk Assessment Principles.
Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Regulatory Agencies.
