- Train and educate employees on safety protocols and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment and emergency response plans
- Collaborate with management and department heads to ensure safety protocols are effectively communicated and implemented throughout the organization

Knowledge Of Safety Regulations: A Site Safety Specialist Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Relevant Safety Regulations And Guidelines, Such As Osha Regulations And Company-Specific Safety Protocols. This Includes Knowledge Of Hazardous Material Handling, Emergency Procedures, And Personal Protective Equipment (Ppe) Requirements.
Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Essential For A Site Safety Specialist To Convey Safety Protocols And Procedures To Employees And Ensure Compliance. The Ability To Communicate Clearly And Concisely, Both Verbally And In Writing, Is Crucial For This Role.
Problem-Solving Abilities: A Site Safety Specialist Must Be Able To Identify Potential Hazards And Develop Solutions To Mitigate Risks. They Should Be Able To Think Critically And Make Quick Decisions In High-Pressure Situations To Ensure The Safety Of Employees And The Site.
