
Shift Supervisor - Surfactants - Prill Packaging

- Oversee the production of high-quality prills and ensure that they meet all quality standards and specifications.
- Lead a team of packaging operators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
- Monitor and track production metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other shift supervisors and department managers to coordinate production schedules and ensure smooth production flow.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing company policies and procedures, and adhering to all safety regulations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members to help them reach their full potential.
- Address and resolve any production or personnel issues that may arise, utilizing strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving measures.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, providing regular updates on production progress and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and logistics, to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of materials and equipment needed for production.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by upper management.
Bachelor's Degree In Chemical Engineering Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Role Within A Manufacturing Environment, Preferably In The Surfactants Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Surfactant Production Processes And Packaging Operations.
Strong Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Ensure Production Targets Are Met.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Implement Process Improvements To Increase Efficiency And Quality.
