Job Description

BASF is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Regional Account Manager to join our Seed Treatment team. We are looking for a passionate individual who is committed to providing exceptional customer service and creating lasting relationships with our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies while ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding sales targets.To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 5 years' sales experience in the seed treatment, crop protection, or agrochemical industry. You will also need to possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and build strong customer relationships. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successfully developing and leading sales strategies and initiatives. Additionally, you will need to have a solid understanding of agriculture and agrochemical products to effectively support our customers. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  2. Build strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  3. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of seed treatment, crop protection, and agrochemical products.
  4. Utilize exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and customers.
  5. Establish and maintain relationships with existing and new customers.
  6. Facilitate customer onboarding and account management processes.
  7. Identify and respond to customer needs and concerns in a timely manner.
  8. Develop and lead initiatives to increase sales.
  9. Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
  10. Prepare presentations, reports, and other sales materials.
