• Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to ensure the safety and quality of products
• Oversee the daily operations of the QC laboratory, including scheduling, training, and supervising laboratory technicians
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of the laboratory to ensure compliance with company and industry standards
• Analyze and interpret data from quality control tests and investigations, and make recommendations for process improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve any product quality issues
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of all quality control processes and procedures
• Stay informed about industry developments and changes in regulations related to product quality and safety
• Communicate effectively with management and other departments to provide updates on quality control processes and results
• Ensure that all laboratory equipment and supplies are properly maintained and calibrated
• Train and mentor laboratory technicians on proper laboratory techniques and protocols
• Participate in the hiring and performance evaluation processes for laboratory staff
• Continuously strive to improve and optimize quality control processes and procedures.
