1. Develop and implement process safety policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate risks associated with chemical processes.
4. Train and educate employees on process safety procedures and best practices.
5. Investigate incidents and near-misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

13. Promote a strong safety culture by fostering open communication, promoting safety awareness, and recognizing and rewarding safe behaviors.
14. Participate in incident investigations and provide recommendations to prevent similar incidents from occurring.
15. Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of process safety programs and procedures.
