As a Sr. Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and optimization of polymer products in our pilot plant.   1. Lead the development and optimization of polymer products in the pilot plant.
  2. Utilize strong technical knowledge and expertise to troubleshoot and solve complex problems related to polymer production.
  3. Collaborate with a team of experts from various backgrounds to achieve project goals and objectives.
  4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company protocols while operating in the pilot plant.
  5. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
  6. Continuously seek out and implement new technologies and processes to improve polymer production efficiency and quality.
  7. Monitor and analyze pilot plant data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
  8. Communicate project updates, progress, and challenges to management and stakeholders.
  9. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for pilot plant operations.
  10. Participate in cross-functional teams to support the scale-up and commercialization of new polymer products.
  11. Maintain and calibrate pilot plant equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  12. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in polymer production technology.
  13. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  14. Uphold the company's values of safety, innovation, and sustainability in all aspects of the job.
  15. Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Polymer Processing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Polymer Processing, With A Focus On Design, Optimization, And Troubleshooting Of Pilot Plant Operations.

  • Strong Technical Knowledge: The Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Polymer Chemistry, Material Science, And Process Engineering Principles. This Includes Knowledge Of Various Polymerization Techniques, Equipment And Instrumentation Used In Pilot Plant Operations.

  • Project Management Skills: The Sr. Engineer Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Projects In A Pilot Plant Environment. This Includes Budget Management, Resource Allocation, And Meeting Project Timelines.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify And Resolve Technical Issues In The Pilot Plant. This Includes The Ability To Analyze Data, Troubleshoot Equipment, And Develop Process Improvements.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Abilities: The Sr. Engineer Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Technical Information To Various Stakeholders. Additionally, The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership Skills To Mentor And Develop Junior Engineers And Technicians.
