- Design and implement electrical and instrumentation systems for BASF production facilities.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any issues related to electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Monitor and analyze data from electrical and instrumentation systems to identify any potential risks or areas for improvement.
- Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs for electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electrical and instrumentation technology to ensure BASF remains at the forefront of the chemical industry.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards in regards to electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians in electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Participate in project planning and execution for upgrades or new installations of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Collaborate with external contractors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely completion of projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures for electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates and recommendations.
- Adhere to BASF's code of conduct and follow all company policies and procedures.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation in electrical and instrumentation systems and processes.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Designing And Programming Electrical Control Systems.
Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Plc, Dcs, And Scada.
Strong Understanding Of Instrumentation And Control Principles.
Experience Working In A Chemical Or Manufacturing Environment Is Preferred.
