Job Description

At BASF, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Agronomy, Research & Technical Services Intern to join our team! We are looking for a self-starter who is passionate about agriculture and keen to put their knowledge into practice. In this role, you will be assisting our Research & Technical Services team with agronomy trials, data analysis, and other research projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a professional environment and to make a meaningful impact on our company.To succeed in this role, you must have a degree in Agriculture or a related field, a strong interest in agronomy, and a commitment to working independently and as a team. You should also have strong problem-solving skills, an eye for detail, excellent communication abilities, and an aptitude for data analysis. Experience with agricultural software and knowledge of crop production and fertility principles is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist Research & Technical Services team with agronomy trials and data analysis.
  2. Participate in research projects and provide meaningful insights.
  3. Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and address issues.
  4. Monitor and observe experiments to ensure accuracy and quality.
  5. Analyze data and interpret findings.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Maintain detailed records and documentations of experiments.
  8. Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest solutions.
  9. Assist with training and development of team members.
  10. Adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures.
