Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Agricultural District Sales Manager to join our team at BASF. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales efforts and increasing market presence in their assigned district. This position requires a deep understanding of the agricultural market, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for sales. If you have the qualifications outlined below and are interested in helping us continue to grow our business, we want to hear from you!Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field• At least 3 years’ experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural industry• Proven track record in sales, including the ability to develop and maintain customer relationships• Excellent communication and negotiation skills• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products and various CRM systems

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies for the assigned district to ensure sales goals and objectives are met.
  2. Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify sales opportunities and recommend product and service solutions.
  3. Establish and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  4. Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to ensure favorable terms and customer satisfaction.
  5. Monitor competitor activity and provide competitive intelligence to management.
  6. Provide regular reports to management regarding sales activity, customer feedback, and market trends.
  7. Prepare and present sales presentations to potential and existing customers.
  8. Develop and implement marketing plans to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
  10. Participate in industry events to build relationships and generate new leads.
