  1. Lead and manage all aspects of field trials for canola products in Western Kansas.
  2. Conduct research and analyze data to support the development and launch of new canola products.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful development and commercialization of canola products.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in agriculture technology to inform product development strategies.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with farmers, industry experts, and internal stakeholders to gather insights and feedback on product performance.
  6. Develop and implement agronomic protocols and trial designs to optimize product testing.
  7. Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure timely and cost-efficient completion of field trials.
  8. Communicate trial results and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Stay compliant with all company, industry, and regulatory guidelines and protocols.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve field trial processes and protocols to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  11. Mentor and train junior team members on field trial management and agronomic principles.
  12. Represent BASF at industry events and conferences to showcase our canola products and establish partnerships.
  13. Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainable farming practices.
  14. Proactively identify and address any challenges or issues that may arise during field trials.
  15. Embody a strong commitment to safety and compliance in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Agricultural Sciences Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Agricultural Field Trials And Technology Development.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Canola Production And Agronomic Practices In Western Kansas.

  • Experience In Project Management And Ability To Lead A Team.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Collaborating With Internal And External Stakeholders.
