If so, BASF has an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a highly motivated Ag Field Trial & Technology Development Manager to join our team in Eastern Montana or Western North Dakota. In this role, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of innovative canola technologies, while also managing field trials and collaborating with key stakeholders. If you have a strong understanding of the agricultural industry, excellent leadership skills, and a desire to drive progress and innovation, we want to hear from you!

  1. Develop and implement innovative canola technologies in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  2. Manage field trials for new canola technologies and provide timely and accurate data analysis.
  3. Collaborate with agricultural experts and industry professionals to identify and address key challenges and opportunities in the market.
  4. Use your understanding of the agriculture industry to identify potential areas for growth and improvement.
  5. Provide leadership and guidance to the team in order to drive progress and achieve goals.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology, and incorporate them into the development of new products.
  7. Monitor and analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs in order to develop effective strategies and solutions.
  8. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including farmers, distributors, and regulatory agencies.
  9. Ensure compliance with all safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  10. Represent the company at industry events and conferences, promoting our products and services to potential customers.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  12. Act as a mentor and coach to team members, promoting a culture of learning and development.
  13. Travel to different locations within the designated region to oversee field trials and meet with stakeholders.
  14. Maintain accurate records and reports of project progress, expenses, and results.
  15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing product offerings.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Agricultural Science Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Field Trial Management And Technology Development For Canola Crops In The Eastern Montana Or Western North Dakota Region.

  • Strong Understanding Of Local Farming Practices And Knowledge Of Canola Crop Production.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Project Management, Data Analysis, And Reporting.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
