Stock Associate

Barneys New York is seeking a Stock Associate to join our team. The Stock Associate role is an essential part of our store team, and you will be responsible for ensuring the store is properly stocked and visually appealing to our customers.The successful candidate for this position will have excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to handle a variety of tasks in an efficient and professional manner. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a commitment to superior customer service. Retail experience is an asset, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure that all store shelves are properly stocked and items are displayed in an attractive manner.
2. Maintain an organized and tidy store environment
3. Receive, unpack and store merchandise in appropriate areas.
4. Assist customers with locating desired items and providing product knowledge.
5. Assist in maintaining the store’s daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
6. Receive and process customer returns and exchanges.
7. Assist in keeping track of inventory levels and ordering new stock when needed.
8. Follow all safety and security protocols when handling merchandise.
9. Adhere to appropriate cash handling procedures.
10. Provide excellent customer service at all times.
