Barneys New York is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Associate to join our team! We are looking for a passionate, customer-focused individual who is dedicated to providing superior and personalized service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have the aptitude to develop relationships with customers and create an exceptional shopping experience.The successful Sales Associate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to make decisions independently. We are looking for someone with previous retail experience, a solid understanding of fashion trends, and a passion for Barneys New York. Above all, the successful Sales Associate must be a team player and demonstrate the highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience for customers.
  2. Develop relationships with customers to ensure loyalty and repeat business.
  3. Utilize knowledge of fashion trends to assist customers in making informed purchase decisions.
  4. Greet customers with a friendly and courteous attitude.
  5. Maintain an organized and clean sales floor.
  6. Remain up-to-date on product information and promotional offers.
  7. Process payments in an efficient and accurate manner.
  8. Maintain a good working relationship with other Sales Associates and store staff.
  9. Provide feedback and suggestions to management regarding customer service and product selection.
  10. Assist in other areas of the store, such as inventory and stock replenishment, as needed.
