Job Description

At Barneys New York, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Personal Shopper to join our team! Our ideal candidate is a fashion-forward individual who will help our customers find the perfect pieces to express their unique style. The Personal Shopper is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by developing relationships with customers, understanding their individual needs, and delivering tailored solutions.The successful candidate should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, be customer-service oriented, and have the ability to think on their feet. They must also have a deep knowledge of the fashion industry, current trends, and designer collections. Additionally, the Personal Shopper should have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.If you are a fashion enthusiast who is eager to help our customers express their style and find the perfect pieces, we look forward to hearing from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop relationships with customers to understand their individual needs and provide tailored solutions.
  2. Maintain a deep knowledge of the fashion industry, current trends, and designer collections.
  3. Provide an exceptional customer experience.
  4. Think on your feet and be comfortable with making decisions.
  5. Utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Analyze customer preferences and provide suitable recommendations.
  7. Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any customer issues.
  8. Execute sales strategies to maximize revenue.
  9. Track customer information and preferences.
  10. Assist with product selection, styling, and other services.
