Job Description

Review quarterly submissions of forecasts by lines of business and functions and lead check and challenge review discussions. Monitor business line performance and identify opportunities and risks to the overall Bank's financial Budget and Long-Range Plan. Perform profitability analysis at the Bank-level and business line level, assessing key metrics such as Net Interest Margin, Efficiency Ratio, JAW Effect, ROA and ROE. Identify and monitor non-financial key performance indicators that drive business line financial performance. Prepare presentations of the Bank’s Forecasts and Budgets for review with the CFO, CEO, Executive Management Committee and Shareholders. Manage the process of setting Budget targets for Lines of Business and Functions that align with the Bank’s financial objectives and communicate them to LOB Finance teams.

Job Qualifications

  • 10 years minimum prior relevant experience.

  • Thorough knowledge of financial and cost accounting, financial analysis, and principles of economics.

  • Experience presenting financial results, budgets and financial recommendations to senior management.

  • Knowledge of international accounting standards; regulatory topics such as capital issues and GAAP accounting issues
