  1. Monitor and analyze trade data and patterns to identify potential market manipulation, insider trading, and other fraudulent activities.
  2. Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  3. Develop and maintain surveillance tools and procedures to enhance the effectiveness of trade surveillance.
  4. Conduct investigations and audits to identify potential risks and escalate any suspicious activities to the appropriate teams.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and changes to ensure compliance in all surveillance activities.
  6. Provide recommendations and insights to improve surveillance processes and procedures.
  7. Work closely with other teams, such as risk management and legal, to address any compliance issues.
  8. Generate reports and present findings to senior management and regulatory bodies.
  9. Communicate with traders and other stakeholders to gather information and resolve any discrepancies.
  10. Participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and implement new technologies and tools to enhance trade surveillance capabilities.
  13. Conduct thorough and accurate documentation of all surveillance activities.
  14. Identify and escalate any potential gaps or weaknesses in surveillance processes.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to junior team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience In Trade Surveillance Or Compliance Within The Financial Industry

  • Proficient In Market Surveillance Tools And Trading Platforms

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Investigate Potential Market Abuse And Manipulation

  • Understanding Of Relevant Regulatory Requirements And Compliance Laws, Such As Finra, Sec, And Cftc Rules And Regulations.
