  1. Conduct trade surveillance activities to monitor and detect potential market abuses.
  2. Analyze trading activity and identify anomalies or patterns that may indicate potential risks.
  3. Review and investigate alerts generated by trade surveillance systems.
  4. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to implement and enhance trade surveillance processes and procedures.
  6. Communicate findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
  7. Keep abreast of industry developments and changes in regulatory requirements to continuously improve trade surveillance processes.
  8. Support internal and external audits and regulatory exams related to trade surveillance.
  9. Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of trade surveillance activities and findings.
  10. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in financial markets and incorporate this knowledge into trade surveillance processes.
  11. Proactively identify and escalate potential risks or issues to management.
  12. Work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, legal, and technology, to ensure effective trade surveillance.
  14. Train and mentor junior team members on trade surveillance processes and procedures.
  15. Uphold ethical and professional standards in all trade surveillance activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Present Findings To Senior Management.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Economics, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Trade Surveillance Or Compliance Within A Financial Institution.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Industry Regulations And Compliance Requirements, Including Sec And Finra Rules.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Investigate Suspicious Trading Activities.
