- Develop and implement new surveillance strategies and techniques to improve fraud detection and prevention.
- Monitor and analyze trade data for accuracy and completeness.
- Work closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of surveillance activities and findings.
- Participate in training and coaching programs to improve surveillance skills and knowledge.
- Proactively identify potential areas of improvement and suggest solutions to enhance surveillance procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all data privacy and security protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on surveillance activities and escalate any issues or concerns.
- Act as a subject matter expert on trade surveillance and assist with any ad-hoc projects or tasks as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Trade Surveillance Or Compliance Within The Financial Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Financial Products, Market Regulations, And Industry Best Practices.
Experience With Trade Surveillance Tools And Systems, Such As Smarts Or Actimize.
Excellent Analytical Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Identify And Investigate Potential Market Misconduct.
