- Conduct thorough and timely validation of AML models to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Bank of America's standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive testing plans and procedures for AML models.
- Utilize advanced quantitative and statistical techniques to analyze model performance and identify potential areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, and communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices related to AML and model validation.
- Provide guidance and support to junior analysts, and promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
- Identify and escalate any potential issues or risks related to AML models, and work with relevant stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with various business units and stakeholders to facilitate effective model validation processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert on AML regulations and model validation principles, and provide guidance and training to other team members as needed.
Advanced Degree In Quantitative Finance: A Sr. Quantitative Finance Analyst At Bank Of America Should Possess A Master's Or Phd In A Quantitative Field Such As Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Or Statistics.
Extensive Experience In Aml Model Validation: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Aml Model Validation, Preferably In A Financial Institution. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Aml Regulations, Industry Best Practices, And Model Validation Methodologies.
Strong Analytical Skills: As A Sr. Quantitative Finance Analyst, The Candidate Should Have Strong Analytical Skills To Review And Validate Complex Aml Models. They Should Be Proficient In Statistical Analysis And Have Experience In Programming Languages Such As Sas, R, Or Python.
Knowledge Of Aml Regulations And Compliance: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Aml Regulations, Including The Bank Secrecy Act (Bsa) And Usa Patriot Act. They Should Also Have Experience With Aml Compliance And Risk Management Frameworks.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Sr. Quantitative Finance Analyst Should Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Model Owners, Developers, And Regulators. They Should Be Able To Clearly Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
