  1. Lead and develop a team of credit reviewers to ensure accurate and timely completion of credit reviews for small business commercial clients.
  2. Develop and maintain policies and procedures for conducting credit reviews in accordance with company and industry standards.
  3. Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess creditworthiness of small business clients.
  4. Collaborate with relationship managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with lending standards.
  5. Identify potential risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
  6. Monitor and report on the overall credit quality of the small business commercial portfolio.
  7. Train and coach team members on credit analysis techniques and provide ongoing support and guidance.
  8. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and exceptional customer service within the team.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to small business lending and credit analysis.
  10. Represent the bank in a professional and knowledgeable manner to clients and external stakeholders.
  11. Meet and exceed performance targets and goals set by the bank.
  12. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
  13. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Handle any escalated issues or concerns from team members or clients in a timely and professional manner.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert on small business credit and provide guidance and support to other teams within the bank as needed.
  16. Continuously monitor and assess team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching to ensure individual and team success.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Commercial Credit Analysis Or Underwriting, Preferably In A Small Business Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Commercial Credit Policies And Procedures, As Well As Regulatory Requirements.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Make Sound Credit Decisions.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Manage A Team And Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders At All Levels, Including Small Business Owners.
