  1. Lead and coordinate the delivery of complex software projects, ensuring successful and timely releases.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand project requirements and align on release plans.
  3. Facilitate agile ceremonies such as Release Planning, Sprint Planning, and Scrum of Scrums to ensure alignment and collaboration among teams.
  4. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, communicating project status, risks, and issues.
  5. Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact release timelines.
  6. Continuously improve release processes and procedures to increase efficiency and quality.
  7. Develop and maintain release schedules and ensure all tasks are completed within set deadlines.
  8. Implement and maintain release metrics to track the success and efficiency of release processes.
  9. Mentor and coach team members on agile methodologies, release management best practices, and continuous improvement.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to release management and implement them in the organization as appropriate.
  11. Collaborate with other Release Train Engineers to identify and implement cross-team improvement initiatives.
  12. Lead post-release retrospectives to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on release management processes and tools.
  14. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of the organization by delivering high-quality releases and promoting a positive team culture.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Agile Methodologies: A Senior Release Train Engineer At Bank Of America Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Agile Principles And Practices, And A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing Them In Large-Scale Projects.
