  1. Lead and manage a team of auditors responsible for monitoring and assessing the accuracy and integrity of anti-money laundering data.
  2. Collaborate with various departments, including compliance, risk management, and data analytics, to identify potential risks related to AML data and develop mitigation strategies.
  3. Conduct thorough and comprehensive audits of AML data processes, systems, and controls in accordance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  4. Develop and implement audit plans and procedures to ensure the effectiveness of AML data quality controls.
  5. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders, including presenting to executive leadership.
  6. Monitor and track remediation efforts for identified issues and ensure timely resolution.
  7. Keep abreast of industry and regulatory developments related to AML data and incorporate relevant changes into audit processes.
  8. Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  9. Collaborate with other audit teams and participate in cross-functional projects to drive continuous improvement in AML data quality and compliance.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Aml Regulations And Data Quality Standards: A Senior Audit Manager - Aml Data Quality At Bank Of America Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Aml Regulations And Data Quality Standards, Including The Bank Secrecy Act (Bsa), Usa Patriot Act, And Office Of Foreign Assets Control (Ofac) Requirements.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Role Requires A High Level Of Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify And Assess Potential Aml Risks And Gaps In Data Quality, And Recommend Effective Solutions To Mitigate These Risks.

  • Extensive Audit Experience: A Successful Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Audit, Risk, Or Compliance Roles, With At Least 5 Years In A Senior Management Position, Preferably In A Financial Institution Or Regulatory Agency.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Senior Manager, This Role Requires The Ability To Communicate Complex Information To Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, Regulators, And Internal Audit Teams. Strong Interpersonal Skills Are Also Crucial For Building Relationships And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills: The Senior Audit Manager Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Auditors And Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills Are Essential For Setting Clear Goals, Delegating Tasks, Monitoring Progress, And Delivering Results Within Tight Deadlines.
