In this role, you will be responsible for managing and mitigating market risks related to interest rates, credit spreads, and foreign exchange in the Rates and CPM portfolios.   1. Develop and implement risk management strategies for the Rates and CPM portfolios, taking into account market trends and potential risks.
  2. Monitor and analyze interest rates, credit spreads, and foreign exchange movements, providing timely and accurate risk assessments.
  3. Identify and evaluate potential risks in the Rates and CPM portfolios, and propose appropriate risk mitigation measures.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure alignment of risk management strategies and policies.
  5. Communicate risk assessment findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
  6. Develop and maintain risk reporting systems and processes to effectively track and measure market risks.
  7. Lead and mentor junior members of the risk management team, providing guidance and support on risk management best practices.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in market risk management.
  9. Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to assess the impact of potential market events on the Rates and CPM portfolios.
  10. Drive continuous improvement in risk management processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Collaborate with other risk management teams to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to risk management across the organization.
  12. Represent the bank in discussions with external stakeholders, such as regulators and auditors, on market risk management matters.
  13. Maintain a thorough understanding of the bank's risk appetite and ensure that risk management activities are in line with it.
  14. Proactively identify and escalate any potential risks or issues to senior management and recommend appropriate actions.
  15. Uphold the bank's values and code of conduct, and comply with all relevant policies and regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Market Risk Management, Preferably With A Focus On Rates And Cpm.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Financial Markets, Products, And Risk Management Techniques.

  • Strong Analytical And Quantitative Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Data And Make Informed Risk Assessments.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Risk Issues To Senior Management And Stakeholders.
